Make a conscious decision everyday on who you are going to represent – God or the world. Once you commit your day to the Lord do not surrender to the first dart the enemy tries to throw at you. Recognize the devil’s trash for what it is and start praising the Lord anyway. That doctor’s report or that power bill may scare you to death. When the spirit of fear comes upon you rebuke that spirit and start calling Heaven down. Call Heaven down and the rock you made a conscious decision to stand on that morning will guide you fearlessly and safely throughout the day. Psalms 7:53 “He led them on safely, so that they feared not.” Don’t limit God, get out of the way and let Him be God. Once you see His faithfulness and His glory that “conscious decision” you made that morning becomes an unconscious, all consuming faith, glory to God, Hallelujah good time, devil chasing, praise the Lord kind of day.

Value your blessings and realize no man can curse what God has blessed. Jesus died for us to have a prosperous and joyful life, not to prolong our suffering. Our blessings symbolize the very presence of God in our life. Once we start realizing God’s blessings we start seeing His glory. Once we see His Glory we realize it was the Lord who has been making the way all along – not us. I John 4:4 “…greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world”. If the Holy Spirit lives in you, the battle is won – live like a winner!
Many of our modern day mottos have biblical principles. “Pay it forward” for instance refers to the beneficiary of a good deed being repaid to others. We are blessed so we can bless others (pay it forward). We are not the possessors of anything, we are simply the stewards of God’s possessions. God reserves the right to direct us in how we should manage His possessions. When the Lord sees we are not “paying it forward”, or blessing others with what He has blessed us with; He has the right, the will and the way to repossess what is His. Automatically, many thoughts go to finances. God is so much bigger than finances. Ponder your many blessings outside of finances and pay them forward as well. Proverbs 28:27 “He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack, but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.” – poor in love, poor in mercy, poor in grace? Share some of your blessings of love, mercy and grace with someone who is lacking today.
God does not bless one person at another’s expense. If God has blessed something no man can curse it. The Lord’s blessings belong to Him. The Lord’s glory belongs to Him. The Lord’s righteousness belongs to Him. Our job is to glorify His blessings. Keep the enemy on his leash by proclaiming God’s glory today.
We are the keeper of God’s property. We must not let the enemy lay claim to what belongs to the Lord. When we as Christians see hell coming down on sinners or saints and they don’t know how to pray their way through, it is our responsibility to call Heaven down and claim their soul in Jesus name. God has given us the power to stand in and pray intercessory for the weak and lost. That is what Jesus is doing for us right now and what we must do for others. When someone hurts you, crosses you or blesses you – you call Heaven down and bless them anyway. We ALL belong to God! Let God use you today by claiming what belongs to His Kingdom.
To magnify God’s promises is easy. However, we can’t ignore the terms of His promises. Christianity involves walking in God’s will not our own. Often we don’t understand God’s will in our lives and the task may seem downright impossible. Prov. 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Don’t worry about understanding, just learn how to trust in the Lord – He’s much better at this than we ever dreamed of!
Faith – as Christians we talk a lot about faith. It is easy to have faith in things when we can “see” how God could make it happen. However, we must also have just as much faith in the things we cannot understand for ourselves. II Cor. 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” We must be careful not to limit God by limiting our faith. If we don’t believe God can make a way, He can’t simply because WE are limiting Him. God is no respecter of persons, He will respond to ANYONE who has faith in His Word. Declare the Word of God for yourself and step out on faith for the unimaginable as well!
We have all heard “forgive but never forget”. God’s forgiveness is given for the asking with no rememberance of our transgressions. God’s heart is full of compassion, mercy and grace not hatred toward the fallen. He is heartsick and must turn His face away from sin. Not because He is turning His back on you but because He cannot bare to see the consequences of the sin on His children. God is not punishing us because we have sinned, He just cannot bless us with His mercy and grace. All God wants to do is bless His children. Thank you God for forgiving and forgetting all of my transgressions!
Psalms 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” Sometimes we have to check ourselves and make sure who placed that order. When we make even the smallest misstep, if we don’t have a PERSONAL relationship with the Lord, we can go down a path of destruction. However, even if we do have a personal relationship with God, we still will make mistakes. The only difference is we have the Lord with us who will draw us back to the narrow path. Always remember the enemy’s favorite tool is deceit but as long as we have God the enemy cannot cross the blood line.
We live in a broken, sick and fallen world. As a result we are surrounded by and often become one of the broken, sick or fallen. Someone who is broken and does not have a relationship with God often seeks someone who God is with instead. It is our job as Christians to lead that person to the Lord and NOT try to BE the Lord in their lives. Leviticus 19:14 “Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind”. The minute we become a religious rule keeper to the blind, we have just become their stumbling block as well.
