“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Cor. 12:8-10.

How many of us felt immediately after our Salvation that our strength would now be sufficient to uphold the moral code of the Law?  I did.  Yes, I stepped out in faith and declared I could uphold the good and righteous Law of God because I now have the Holy Spirit living inside.  “Greater is He that is in me” (1 John 4:4), I proudly proclaimed.  Now, before you think I have flipped my lid, you and I both know all of these things are true BUT as a new Believer, the words coming out of my mouth were different than my actions.  It was my strength I thought would now be sufficient and sadly, I soon found out my strength was indeed miserably insufficient.

The Law, which is holy and just, was designed to make us responsible for our actions.  It is designed to incite the sin nature in order to show us our strength is grossly insufficient.  However, instead of admitting our strength is grossly insufficient, we blame the devil or God for our weakness.  Our deception is on our behalf, not God’s.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.

You see, the Law is meant to be kept by Jesus living in us and through us by the Power of the Holy Spirit…not by our strength but His strength is our sin nature dethroned.  We are unable to yield to the Power of God before we are saved.  It is only through faith in Jesus Christ and what He has done that the Holy Spirit is commissioned to isolate our sin nature making us dead to sin, not our faith in our own strength.  This is part of our Baptism into Christ Jesus; yielding to Him through the Power of God through the Holy Spirit and identifying with His Death, Burial and Resurrection.

The Law was kept and is kept by the Lord Jesus Christ…His strength, His grace and His power is sufficient.  We have to get out of the way and quit trying in our own self efforts to do what only Jesus could do and has already done, defeat death, hell and the grave.  Jesus Christ loves His flock, He wants us to have victory over our sin nature but we must have faith in Him for His power over Sin (sanctification) as well as His power over death (Salvation).  – Donna Clark Warren

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  1 Corinthians 15:55-56.

The strength of our sin nature is found in law.  When a Christian mentions law we automatically think of the Mosaic Law.  However, it is any law that strengthens our sin nature.  There are many laws in the church today, they are sugar coated, with lipstick and flowers so we won’t recognize them as “laws”.  If we don’t look at them as laws and we don’t understand that the “strength of sin is the law”, we will never have victory over our sin nature.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor. 15:56.  We, as Christians, believe this but we turn around and make a law to overcome our “problem”.  Which our “problem” is our sin nature having dominion over us instead of us having dominion of our sin nature and we are too proud to call such a problem what it truly is… our sin nature having power over us.  This “sin” I’m speaking of isn’t the action of sin but it is the object or the sin nature.  Too many get offended when someone says sin has power over them.  It is not the verb, for example, drinking, that has the power but the sin nature due to Adam’s fall that has the power.  At one point in every single human beings life, the sin nature has the power over them until they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour at which point the Holy Spirit comes and dethrones the sin nature.  If we had power over our sin nature, the Cross of Jesus would not have been necessary.

Yes, we have a self will and with that self will we must choose Jesus Christ and our faith must stay on Him for the Holy Spirit to give us victory over sin (Romans 8:2), not that law the modern day church calls a “program” to treat our “problem”, that is psychology and straight from the pits of …well you know.   These programs to treat man’s problems are not the power of God through faith in Jesus Christ for deliverance of our bondage.  They are the power of man through faith in a law, a “program”,  which strengthens our sin nature.  Again, I say…”But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  1 Cor. 15:56.  Get that settled in you spirit and turn away from the law which is strengthening your sin nature.  – Donna Clark Warren

“Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1 Corinthians 10:1-11.

It is just as important for the Believer to know and understand the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.  Because we are no longer under Law, many dismiss the Old Testament without ever realizing it was not the Law that saved man but, as is today, it was grace through faith that saved them.  The Mosaic Law which was given to indict man of their unrighteousness, was Righteous indeed but it never saved anyone.

Sadly, many believe since we live under the dispensation of Grace, all due to what Jesus did on the Cross, that God can now tolerate sin in a Believer’s life. This is unequivocally not so.  The Israelite murmurers, idolaters and fornicators who tempted God and were destroyed in the wilderness should serve as our examples of how God treats sin.  God does not change, He is the same yesterday, today and forever more (Hebrews 13:5).   So many of us complain and murmur about the way God is doing something in our lives and in fact blame it on satan because it does not appeal to our flesh.  The Lord chastises and teaches His children through testing, yet we rebuke His testing as if it came from the devil.

The dispensation of Grace in which we now live under does not give us a license to sin but gives us the power NOT to sin.  What God thinks about sin and how He handles sin has not changed.  This power not to sin is made possible because of Jesus Christ.  He was our Sin Offering unto the God, which is again, explained in the Old Testament.  It is because of Jesus, the Perfect Lamb of God, laying down His life for us to live that we are able to live.  Jesus accomplished what He came to earth to accomplish, die for our sins and His Resurrection is our proof that He accomplished all He came to do which is reconcile God to His Children.  Don’t make the mistake however that Jesus reconciled God to those who don’t believe in Him; no, God’s Children belong to Jesus, Abraham’s Seed…not “seeds”  as in many (Galatians 3:16).

“But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11.

With our faith placed on Jesus Christ and Him crucified, we have the power not to sin.  The Holy Spirit is commissioned to isolate our sin nature and quicken our mortal bodies when our faith is placed on Jesus…not our self efforts.  “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2.  Don’t ever think that because we are living under Grace and the Law is written on our heart that we are entitled to sin.  In fact, if that law that is written on our heart, doesn’t line up with the Word of God, it is not the law of God written there but our own law we have conjured up in our heads to fit our lifestyle.  Sin hasn’t changed….and neither has God but in God’s Goodness, He has given us a way to overcome sin, Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  – Donna Clark Warren

“What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.” Romans 7:7.

We always want what we don’t have.  We don’t even think about a donut until we go on a diet.  The law, any law, incites us to desire that which we are forbidden.  It, the law, requires two things, obedience or penalty for lack of obedience.  Law doesn’t cause our problem but exposes our problem.  God’s moral Law, the Mosaic Law, has the same effect on sin.  Our human nature causes us to want what we are told we can’t have and, with God’s moral Law, it was righteousness and morality.

When we are born again and become a new creature in Christ Jesus, our sin nature doesn’t die, we are just no longer alive to sin.  It, our sin nature, is isolated from us by the Holy Spirit.  Our faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified allows the Holy Spirit to maintain dominion over our sin nature (Romans 8:2).  Sadly, what happens in many cases, is well intentioned men and women step in to the new Believers life and begin to tell them the “sanctification processes” as ordained by the latest fads coming down the pipe.  Once completing the 4 step classes doing all of the questionnaires, our ministry and place in the “body of Christ” is appointed and we walk blindly into our “good works”.   Our faith is quickly and quietly shifted from what Jesus Christ  has done to give us victory over sin to what we must now do…we have made a law that will quickly incite that sin we are trying to defeat.   We no longer have dominion over our sin nature because our faith has shifted from Jesus’ works to our works and the Holy Spirit is not commissioned to empower faith in our works but  faith in Jesus and what He did for us on the Cross.

Even the most scriptural of things become a law when we do them to overcome sin.  We will not be judged by popular opinion.  We will be judged by what the Word of God says.  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:89.  Don’t frustrate the grace of God by placing our faith for our sanctification anywhere other than where we placed our faith for our Salvation – on Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  By doing so we fail to avail ourselves of the power of God to dethrone our sin nature and our good works quickly become law.  Religion will condemn us for not “performing” our good works which are not good works but a distraction, busy works.  When our faith is properly maintained on what Jesus has done, Who He is and what He has done, HE will put on our hearts HIS desire, HIS will and HIS purpose for our lives and THAT is what becomes our good works.  Man can’t tell you this and the Lord doesn’t need any help, He needs our faith in Him in order for the Holy Spirit  to do what He is commissioned to do – empower the Children of God to have victory over their sin nature.  Fight the good fight, the fight of faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work. – Donna Clark Warren. 

“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile My sanctuary, and to profane My Holy Name.  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not: Then I will set My face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.  And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set My face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.  Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.  And ye shall keep My statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.” Leviticus 20:1-8. 

There were severe penalties attached to defiling God’s Sanctuary and profaning His Holy Name ( Lev. 20:3).  Such things are sadly common among the heathen but here, God was speaking to the Children of Israel and “the strangers who sojourn in Israel”.

Let us also take note that the penalties are just as strong for those who “hide their eyes from the man” who desecrate God’s Temple.  As a Child of God, we are to stand up against false doctrine and not hide our eyes.  So, before getting offended with those who refuse to put lipstick on a false doctrine and watch as other’s give their seed to molech, remember the penalties for those who condone or see nothing wrong with such actions are just as strong as for the ones who are partaking in such actions.

Jesus prayed “Sanctify them through thy Truth: thy Word is Truth.   As You have sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the Truth.”  John 17: 17-19.  The Word of God alone is the Truth.   It doesn’t “contain” truth, It IS Truth, whether we agree with it or not.  We are sent to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified to the world, not to condone the heathen practices that have been brought in to the church by the world.  Our sanctification comes through the work of the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, not the schemes of men.

There is a lost and dying world on both sides of the church door.  Jesus is knocking on that door.  If you are not preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified for both Salvation AND sanctification, you are feeding your seed to molech.  If you are watching as those around you are feeding their seed to molech, you have a choice to make and it is between you and God.  I will be praying for you to be sanctified through the Truth of the Word of God and not a man made denomination.  You will answer to God for HIS Word, not that diatribe of denominational beliefs.  – Donna Clark Warren

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;   neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” Ephesians 5:1-7.

While reading this scripture in Ephesians yesterday, the Lord put Exodus 32:26 on my heart.  “Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, ‘Who is on the Lord’s side?’ let him come unto me….”  That day in the wilderness there were 3000 Israelite idolaters slain for either worshipping or seeing no fault in worshipping the golden calf.  Our idols today may not come in the form of a golden calf but they are anything we do to have victory over sin other than faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

I am by no means akin to Moses but I do ask, “Who is on the Lord’s side?”  Are you worshipping a “golden calf” to overcome your bondage?  Maybe not.  Do you see anything wrong with those who are?  Be not partakers with them.  When we call on the name of Jesus Christ, He doesn’t come fight the battle He has already won for you, He comes and snatches us out of the grips of satan.   “…the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12.  The violence Heaven paid by the Crucifixion of Jesus, is the same violence that took dominion over sin from satan.  Be partakers in the victory JESUS gave us over sin and take it by force through faith in what He has done and Who He is!   – Donna Clark Warren

“Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?” Galatians 4:21.

Anytime we attempt to have victory over our sin nature by law, the Mosaic Law or any other man made law, we will always find the law has victory over us.  The Mosaic Law was given to man to indict us of our unrighteousness, not declare our righteousness.  It was a holy and given by God.  Yet when man failed miserably to uphold the Law, man made up their own law to be declared righteous.  If you do this for 40 days, that for 21 days while wearing this, you can have victory over sin…until you do all of that and you are handed another defeat.   Deliverance from the Lord does not require anything the flesh has to offer.  Our deliverance, our only victory over our sin nature is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit comes and isolates our sin nature.  The sin nature is not dead but we are dead to it.  It is only when our sin nature is isolated by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are able to yield to God’s Divine Nature.  Again, this does not come through any man made scheme but faith in Jesus Christ and faith alone.  The majority of the churches today rely on psychology for deliverance from sin.

Jesus did not eradicate sin from the world on the Cross but He gave whosoever will accept Him as Lord and Saviour eternal life and power over sin.  All of our efforts made in ignorance to gain this victory over sin in the flesh does not change the results.  Many believe abstinence is the victory but they fight the fight everyday to suppress their sin.  This is not deliverance but self will.  We do fight the fight everyday but it is the fight of faith; faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified for our deliverance, total and complete deliverance.  “But we have to do our part,” people say…our part is faith in what Jesus did on the Cross to overcome sin.  Don’t think I’m saying we don’t have to be obedient to the Word of God.  We absolutely do.  Don’t think I’m saying  good works are not necessary.  Do, however, understand this,  if you think your good works have anything to do with your victory over sin you are in fact living under law and they are not good works at all.

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:11-12.

Our life, everyone’s life, Believer and unbeliever, belongs to God.  Jesus Christ came to give us our life and give it to us freely.  To seek deliverance or life elsewhere reveals a heart not after God but after His promises.  The methods you seek are the law you are under and they will reveal man’s corruption not righteousness….unfortunately, the corruption they often reveal is self righteousness.  Satan will keep you running in these circles as long as you will.  The answer the church is seeking is knocking on the door, yet many cannot hear.  There is a harvest of souls who need deliverance from their bondages and the Gospel of Jesus Christ was the answer the day we were saved and He remains the answer.  We can’t go past the Cross of Jesus for deliverance over sin.  God has appointed a place to meet the sinner’s and deliver the Saints and that is at the Cross of Jesus Christ. – Donna Clark Warren

“He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:10-12. 

Our life was not our own before we are born again.  Before our Salvation, no matter how “good” of a person we were, our lord was satan.  We were unable to be “alive unto God” (Romans 6:11) until the Spirit of God comes to bear witness to us that we are a child of God (Romans 8:16).  It is only through our faith in the atoning Sacrifice of Jesus that we are able to reckon ourselves dead to sin.  With our faith on Jesus and His finished work (not our work) the Holy Spirit is able to do what He is commissioned to do by the Lord, dwell in us (we are the temple of God) and dethrone the current “lord” of our life, satan.  When our faith drifts anywhere else for victory over sin and the world other than the Cross of Jesus, the Holy Spirit cannot act on our behalf (Romans 8:2) – He can’t condone another way of victory because there is not any other way.

So are we merely puppets?  Absolutely not.  There is one factor that plays a major role.  God will not override this factor but satan will run all over it.  Remember, we have no power to defeat satan without the power of God through faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning work on the Cross.  “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 5:5.  It is purely God’s mercy that has kept us going thus far in hopes to bring all to the saving knowledge of Him.  This one factor I’m speaking of is our free will.  God has given us a free will that He will not override; we must choose Him to be our Lord and Saviour.  He will do everything He can to bring us to the saving knowledge of Him, including turning us over to satan but He will not override our free will.

Our life is not our own until we are born again.  Once we come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and what He has done and who He is, our life is given to us freely and eternally.  If you are not a born again Christian, your life doesn’t belong to you.  However, I know a Man, the Man Jesus Christ, that died so you could have life and have it more abundantly.  Satan wants us to believe his options are the only options, either sin or die but he won’t tell us those options are one in the same.  Sin pays but its wages are death.  There is deliverance out of that jail cell but there is only one way out and that is down Calvary Road.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6  If you believe that, He will set you free.  – Donna Clark Warren

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14.

The sacred things of God must never be used for common purposes.  In the Old Testament, the priests took great care to separate and distinguish between the holy and the unholy; the clean and the unclean.  If any unclean thing was brought before the Lord, His presence would consume them.  Just as Aaron’s sons brought strange fire before the Lord and they were consumed (Leviticus 10:1-2), so too is today’s strange fire consumed.  If our High Priest, Jesus Christ, has declared us clean, we have no business fellowshipping with the unclean.

But Jesus hung out with the sinners (Mark 2:13-17), you say?  “When Jesus heard it, He said unto them, they who are whole have no need of the physician, but they who are sick: I came not to call the Righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Mark 2:17.  Jesus came to heal the sinner and call them to repentance…let us not leave that little nugget out of the equation, even though it does lay waste the ministry of the bar room preachers who want to “show them Jesus” by bellying up to the bar with them over a cocktail.

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18.  Today’s social gospel encourages the Saint to go out among them and “be the only Bible some will ever see”.   The only problem with that is the only Bible they show is a sugar coated, diluted gospel so as to appeal to the flesh of a lost and dying world, instead of lifting up Jesus Christ and what He did for them and allowing the Holy Spirit to draw them.  Once  the lost get into church, there are a variety of programs to choose from to overcome their sin and be a productive part of society.  All the while, their heart has not been changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ but their flesh has been temporarily appeased. 

I say all of that to say this, we will know them by their fruit.  Many think I am speaking of coming out from among the unbelievers…no, I’m speaking of the “believers” who do not believe the Word of God.  I am speaking of those who have decided to do it “their” way and follow their flesh for victory over sin and forsaking the Cross of Jesus Christ and what He did to give them dominion over sin.  These are the ones who will have the blood of the ones they have led astray on their hands….come out, come out from among them!  Jesus is still Jesus of the Bible.  He  is alive and is active in His church.  The Lord wants to heal the sick, break the bondages and deliver His people but we must come out from among the unclean so they will not be consumed.  – Donna Clark Warren

“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” 1 Corinthians 3:9-13.

I have heard it said that it will all be sorted out when we get to Heaven.  As long as they, whoever they may be, believe in Jesus they will be saved.  My only questions is this, is their “Jesus” the Jesus of the Bible or another Jesus?  If they don’t know the Jesus of the Bible, Who He is and what He has done, they add to and take from His works and turn Him into “their” Jesus.   Suddenly there becomes various requirements to Salvation; such as baptisms, sacraments and good works.  Then once Salvation has come, there are requirements to stay saved, solutions to overcome sin and penance that must be paid.  These beliefs are then given a title and called a denomination with the foundation as Jesus…but is He the Jesus of the Bible?   As long as His name is “Jesus” we consider this “unity”.  This unity soothes the conscience of the Believer’s without holding them accountable to the full counsel of the Word of God, rightly divided.

“For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my Gospel (the Gospel of Jesus Christ).” Romans 2:14-16.  Do I have it all right? No.  However, I have this book called the Word of God that I am blessed enough to have full access to and I choose to use it to judge doctrine instead of an ear tickling preacher or book.  We won’t give an account to God for what a preacher or a book says.  We will give an account according to what His Word says, so as a born again Believer, we best know God’s Word for ourselves and filter our doctrine through the Word of God instead of filtering the Word of God through our doctrine. 

If the Jesus of the Gospel you are sitting under saves you from the wages of sin, check – that’s true.  However, if the Jesus of the same gospel points you to man’s methods to overcome sin, stop!  As soon as we frustrate grace with 40 days of purpose, 100 days of grace, 21 days of fasting, binding or not binding a python…whatever works that best seller directs us to do to have victory over sin, our faith is placed on our works and removed from Jesus and His finished work.  This is not deliverance by the Lord Jesus Christ through faith in His finished work but instead it is spiritual adultery.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 1 Timothy 4:3-4.  It is easier for many Christians to believe in blood moons and shemitahs then to actually believe what the Word of God says about false doctrine.  The Pharisees didn’t know they were religious either.  They had added all of their rules to the Mosaic Law and never understood grace.  Many look to those who have left the institutional churches and have chosen not to sit under the apostate and end time churches as the religious Pharisees.  Sadly, those are the same ones who have frustrated the grace of God by placing their faith in man’s methods, forming a religion of their own.

“Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23. 

Is your Jesus the Jesus of the Bible?  I can’t tell you that but the Holy Spirit will if you ask Him.  The Holy Spirit will always point you to Jesus Christ and Him Crucified…never to schemes of man.  – Donna Clark Warren
