A TIME TO DIE

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment:” Hebrews 9:27
 
We are all appointed a time to die. We never know when the Lord will require of us our soul (Luke 12:19-21). As certain as death is, so too is Judgment for those who don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. The rich man in hell today is still begging for a drop of water.
 
“20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
 
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
 
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
 
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
 
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” Luke 16:20-24
 
It is ‘not death and taxes’ of which we should concern ourselves…it is the Judgment which comes after death. When the gates of hell close behind the unbeliever, their’s becomes an eternal and conscious torment in a devil’s hell.
 
The penalty of sin is death (Romans 6:23). We are all born spiritually dead unto God due to Adam’s Fall. We are physically alive but spiritually dead. Except we be born again, we will not see the Kingdom of Heaven (John 3:5-7).
 
We have a Saviour and His Name is Jesus Christ. On Calvary’s Cross, Jesus became our substitute…He paid the sin penalty for WHOSOEVER will believe upon Him.
 
Today is the day of Salvation. We are all appointed a time to die…we never know when the Lord will demand of us our eternal soul. Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour?
 
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

THE SECOND DEATH

“11 And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the Earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
 
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the Books were opened: and another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works.
 
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
 
14 And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.
 
15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” Revelation 20:11-15
 
Just yesterday I heard of two separate conversations from friends who had spoken with others regarding hell and neither one of the people they were talking to believed in hell. One person expressed her dismay at those who have read the Bible in it’s entirety and they still believe in hell. A third person, an unbeliever, overheard the conversation and stated she would rather be in hell than just ‘sleep’ for eternity.
 
Such is the state of the modern church. Preachers are scared to preach on sin and hell because they are scared their congregation will get upset with them. Let me tell you something friend, you can get mad, glad or whatever it is that you want to get but if you are a Bible believing Christian, than you know that hell is real and Jesus Christ came to die on Calvary’s Cross to deliver WHOSOEVER will believe from eternal damnation.
 
On the other hand, if you don’t believe in hell…well to be frank and honest, and I don’t say this with one bit of ‘gladness’ in my heart, then you don’t have a proper understanding of the Atonement or the Word of God and unless you repent you are going to find out first hand that there is a hell. God forbid no!
 
“16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
 
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be Saved.” John 3:16-17
 
There is a hell my friend and Jesus Christ came to die on Calvary’s Cross to Save us from a devil’s hell. We either believe the Word of God to be True; ALL of it, the full counsel, rightly divided Word…or we believe it to be a lie.
 
If you are sitting in a church preaches there is no hell – run; get out from among them and be ye separate.

O WRETCHED MAN

“5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His Death, we shall be also in the likeness of His Resurrection:
 
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
 
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.” Romans 6:5-7
 
The sin nature of which we were all born with due to the fall of Adam is not rendered ‘dead’ upon Salvation but WE are dead to our sin nature. It’s dominion dethroned as the Spirit of God takes up residence in our heart and life and begins His mighty circumcision without hands; removing those things which are not pleasing to God. Superintending the work of God to create in us a new creature.
 
“17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
 
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 For. 3:17-18
 
From glory to glory, we are changed into the image of God. We now have the liberty to not sin. Our sin nature’s dominion has been isolated by the power of the Holy Spirit because our faith has been placed solely and exclusively in the Cross of Christ. Under Grace, sin has no dominion (Romans 6:14) and we are free to be who the Lord has created us to be.
 
…and then we stumble. We fail the Lord in one way or another. The conviction of the Holy Spirit is heavy on our heart and repentance on our lips. We are forgiven but not delivered from this sin, whatever this sin may be, that has so easily beset us.
 
In order for this to not happen again, we place some kind of rule (law) or method in place to forbid such sin. Kind of like a check and balance system; a back up system for Grace. If Grace doesn’t do it, the system of which we have put in place to ensure or ‘sinless perfection’ will keep us from sinning.
 
With good intentions and a sincere heart we march on…and we stumble again. This vicious cycle doesn’t end because we have put ourselves back under law. We are no longer dead to our sin nature because the rule (law) of which our faith is now placed seems ‘good’ but evil remains present.
 
“21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
 
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
 
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
 
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Romans 7:21-24
 
Our members war against the law in our mind to do that which is ‘good’ and brings us back into captivity. The sin nature, which was once dethroned by the Holy Spirit, is no longer isolated because our faith has been moved from the Cross of Christ to break the power of sin to a ‘rule’ or law which seems good and right. This shift in our faith from the Cross of Christ is outside the parameters of the Holy Spirit’s commission to maintain sin’s dominion in our hearts. Before long, just as the prodigal son, we too are eating with the swine.
 
“For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of Sin and Death.” Romans 8:2
 
But praise be to God for the ‘Message of the Cross’. The illumination of this Scripture given to Jimmy Swaggart, one who many has wrongly deemed ‘unfit’, has set many a captive free; this writer being one. Who are we to call dirty what the Lord has cleansed? I thank God for Bro. Swaggart and the entire ministry at JSM (Jimmy Swaggart Ministries). This message is not a new message nor a new revelation but understanding of what the Holy Spirit gave the Apostle Paul in Romans 6, 7 and 8.
 
The Holy Spirit does not work outside of the parameters of the Cross of Christ. We can recite “He Who is in me is greater than he who is in the world” all we want but if our faith is not EXCLUSIVELY in Jesus Christ and Him crucified, Who HE is and what HE has done to break the power of sin; the Holy Spirit is NOT going to superintend the work of God in our lives. We are made free from the Law of Sin and Death only when we are IN Christ Jesus; submitted unto Him; denying ourselves daily and follow HIM, not our abilities, intellect, talents or will power.
 
This is a fight of faith we fight DAILY, not just once at Salvation. We don’t get Saved everyday. No, that’s silly. But we do look solely and exclusively EVERYDAY to the Cross of Christ, the Author and the Finisher of our faith for dominion over sin.
 
There is liberty in the Cross of Christ; liberty not to sin. Sin’s dominion has been dethroned at the Cross of Christ for whosoever will believe. It is not the wooden beam but Jesus Christ. HE is the Source and the Cross His means by which HE afforded us this liberty.
 
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ and Him crucified…be determined to know nothing else among you.

AMERICAN CATHOLICISM

To understand ‘American Catholicism’, we must first understand ‘Roman Catholicism’. The Greek term ‘Katholica’ referred to the universal Christian Church founded by the Apostles in Acts chapter 2.

The official religion imposed by the government of Rome toward the end of the 4th century was that of the Christian faith, aka ‘Katholica’ or better known today as ‘Catholicism’. During that time, the majority of the Roman population had followed pagan religions all stemmed from Babylonian rites for many centuries.

The acceptance of the Roman citizens of Christianity, aka Catholicism, was out of necessity. However, the people continued in their heathen practices.

In order to gain a semblance of compliance with the official religion of Rome AND appease the people, pagan elements were absorbed into the Christian faith. Many nations trace their common worship from Babylonia rites, including what we now know as the ‘Roman Catholics’.

Fast forward approximately 1400 years to todays modern church. In it, the practices and rites of humanistic psychology have been completely absorbed in most churches today. In order to appease the people, the church has fully embraced the nefarious philosophies of humanistic psychology to break the power of sin in a person’s life. The Word of God is no longer the plumb line for daily living for God but feelings are the authority by which morality is measured.

However, just as the Lord raised up a monk by the name of Martin Luther who redirected the world’s attention to the Word of God, identified the heresies which had corrupted the universal Christian Church, aka ‘Catholicism’ (not ‘Roman’ Catholicism) and repudiated such doctrines as having no part in the religion of the Lord Jesus Christ in his 95 Thesis, so too is the Lord raising up a remnant today.

The Lord is raising up a people who are directing His People back to the Cross of Christ for all that they need for life and living. They are identifying the heresies of humanistic psychology which have corrupted the church and repudiating them as having absolutely nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. These are a peculiar people; unashamed of the Cross of Christ. They will not bow down nor serve any other gospel nor any other Jesus to appease the people. They are determined to know nothing else among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

‘American Catholicism’ has laid many strong man waste. It is on every street corner seducing the unlearned and young in Christ.

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the House of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17

Come out from among them and be ye separate.

Propheliars Prophelie

“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the (a)way of Salvation.” Acts 16:16-1
 
There are many possessed with the spirit of divination ‘prophelying’ over those with itchy ears. Mysticism abounds in the modern church building up the ‘man of God’ and God.
 
Recognize the direction you are being led; to the Cross of Christ or away from the Cross of Christ. Mysticism will lead us away from the Finished Word of Christ Jesus to supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory and to ‘ourselves’. Telling us what God wants for ‘us’ but not showing us the way to receive His Promises. We feel good for a moment until the reality of our current situation slaps us in the face.
 
Lying to ourselves and to God is not God’s method of deliverance for His Children. The Promises of God ARE yes and amen to those who follow HIM. In order to follow the Lord we must DENY ourselves…not focus on ourselves (Luke 9:23).
 
Many are walking in spiritual defeat because the ‘personal prophelies’ given unto them by those being led by a spirit of divination have caused their faith to move from the Cross of Christ, the One Who afforded all that we receive from God, to the lies of man. These personal prophesies are cursing the Believer who believes the lies. Theses prophelies may indeed sound good and right and unless properly discerned, they will deceive the Believer. Many are richly supporting such propheliars who sufficiently tickle their ears and appeal to the lust of their flesh.
 
Let me be clear, the Bible says in the last days your sons and daughters will prophesy (Acts 2:17) but such prophesies will always exhort faith in the Cross of Christ, not self.
 
If it, whatever ‘it’ may be, does not point you to the Cross of Christ for all that you need; ‘it’ is another way to Salvation and another way to Sanctification – from such turn away.
 
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8
 
Your faith in the Cross of Christ Jesus is what the devil is after. He wants to destroy, kill and steal all that the Lord has afforded you on Calvary’s Cross by turning you, the Believer, to another way. Be sober. Be vigilant. Be determined to know nothing else among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

PECULIAR PEOPLE

“For the Grace of God that brings Salvation has appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
 
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.” Titus 2:11-15
 
The Believer cannot live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world without denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. Furthermore, the Believer cannot deny ungodliness and worldly lusts unless we are submitted unto God…submitted unto His Plan for living soberly, righteously and godly which is faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
 
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
 
Until we are submitted unto God, we cannot resist the devil and the devil will not flee from you.
 
“And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23
 
Until we deny ourselves; our abilities, self will, talents, emotions, intellect, etc., we cannot follow Jesus.
 
Picking up our cross and living soberly, righteously and godly in this present world cannot be done until our own abilities are denied and we submit unto God’s Plan for victorious Christian living, Jesus Christ and HIS Finished Work on Calvary’s Cross. All other plans will lead to a life of spiritual defeat which can destroy one’s faith.
 
Make no mistake, there are many nefarious plans available for victorious Christian living that are rooted in doctrines of demons but presented as biblical doctrine all of which will lead away from the Cross of Christ. At Calvary’s Cross, Jesus Christ broke the power of sin in the Believer’s life; we CANNOT live soberly, Righteously and Godly in this present world any other way. There is no dominion over sin with our faith placed in vain philosophies for victory. The Holy Spirit is not commissioned to isolate our sin nature when we are looking to anything other than the Cross of Christ for victory.
 
The Believer who understands their victory is in the Cross of Christ Jesus is ZEALOUS for good works…that is good works of the Spirit of God removing those things in our heart which are unpleasing to God. It is the work of the Holy Spirit of which we are zealous for and we have found the Faith in which He superintends the work of God in our hearts and lives and it is faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We are peculiar because we know that we know that we know that the Lord will do and can do exactly what He has promised to do. We know that in us there is no good thing but at Calvary’s Cross, Jesus afforded us the ability to partake in God’s Divine Nature and allow the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit to work mightily in our own hearts.
 
The only fight and I venture to say the hardest fight is the fight of faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified on a daily basis. So often we want to pick it up and handle it, whatever it may be, in our flesh; our own abilities and intellect. To do so, we would be denying the power of God; deeming the Cross of Christ as insufficient to break the power of sin in our lives, unable to follow Christ and resist the devil.
 
Don’t be ashamed of being peculiar. Fight the good fight of faith; faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Be determined to know nothing else among you.

VAIN TALKERS

“For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.” Titus 1:10-11
 
The false doctrine of the unruly, vain talkers and deceivers sounds right as it lays waste entire households. Many strong men have been slain by the harlot (Proverbs 7:26).
 
“13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
 
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the Truth.
 
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
 
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1:13-16
 
Instead of sharply rebuking the vain talkers, most will turn a blind eye in order to not offend. As the Brethren lead other Brethren into a yoke of religious works, their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him.
 
“This people draw near unto Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.” Matthew 15:8
 
With their conscience defiled and minds reprobate, these vain talkers exhort many wonderful works; works which are disobedient, abominable and reprobate.
 
Loudly proclaiming their profession, they are workers of iniquity who believe in their defiled hearts their works are good yet sadly, the Lord will profess unto them that day “I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”
 
“22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name? and in Your Name have cast out devils? and in Your Name done many wonderful works?
 
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:22-23
 
Still, despite all of the warnings regarding false teachers and the exhortations in the Word of God to rebuke, to warn, to come out from among them and to judge their fruit, there remains on the pews untold thousands of willfully ignorant professing Believers who do not seem to notice. Seeing, they see not; hearing they hear not and neither do they understand (Matt. 13:13). The fact of the matter is they are lukewarm and the Lord would rather see them cold (or hot) than lukewarm.
 
“I know thy works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.” Revelation 3:15
 
The ‘cold’ do not profess the Lord therefore they do not bring reproach to His Name. The lukewarm profess Christianity yet their works are abominable, their minds reprobate and conscience defiled.
 
Rebuking such a one is not done out of pride but out of love and concern for their eternal souls. The Cross of Christ Jesus will have It’s intended effect when It is lifted up among the camp for all that we need. Why then would we allow another way to be brought in among us?
 
Beware of vain talkers and deceivers. Their doctrine sounds right but it’s intended purpose is to direct our faith away from the Cross of Christ for all that we need for victorious Christian living. A life of spiritual defeat, which is always and without fail the fruit of these many wonderful works; works which are disobedient to God’s Will and purpose for your life, can lead to the destruction of one’s faith in the Cross of Christ for Salvation…such is the devil’s intent.
 
Many a strong men have fallen under the curse of false doctrine.
 
Prayerfully consider.
 
Jesus Christ and Him crucified, be determined to know nothing else among you.

The Ultimatum

“And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey His Voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.” Exodus 5:2
 
When properly delivered, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is an ultimatum; a demand of what God demands from the sinner AND the Saints…not a ‘diplomatic word’ which leaves room for compromise. It drives man to a choice and leaves no room for their excuse.
 
The world is ignorant of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified and will harden their neck towards His Ways as can plainly be seen in the world today. Just as Pharaoh knew not the Lord, neither do they. They are not lost because they reject Jesus as their Lord and Saviour but the reject Jesus as their Lord and Saviour because they are lost. A liar is not a liar because they lie, they lie because they are a liar.
 
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but God now commands all men everywhere to repent.” Acts 17:30
 
When the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified is properly presented it will harden the heart as clay or soften the heart as wax. The rejection of the Cross of Christ by the world is done because of pride, self will or greed.
 
The world will at times accept the ‘theology’ of Jesus Christ and Him crucified but it is because of greed in their hearts. They have accepted the method as a means of prosperity by they have not accepted The Man, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour nor their. They simply sell the theology for gain. In order to sell the ‘theology’, the gospel presented must be diplomatic; it will not offend as an ultimatum offends. This diplomatic word is not does not seek to bring one to a decision but a compromise. Because these words appeal to flesh of man who doesn’t want to offend anyone and it appears ‘good’, the people pay a high price to support the aptly compromising ‘preacher of righteousness’ who is in reality from the pits of hell, anointed of the devil speaking lies in hypocrisy. They may have indeed started out well but their conscience has been seared.
 
The moral authority of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified has been a stumbling block for those who have an intellectual understand of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. They have a theological understanding but have rejected It’s moral authority over their hearts and lives. These are religious zealots that the world loves. Why? Because they are one of them. There was no ultimatum delivered unto them but a diplomatic word; another gospel and another Jesus. They are on every street corner seducing the young Christians; those who don’t yet understand the Scriptures (Proverbs 7). Jesus said suffer not the little children to come unto Him (Matthew 19:14). These children are not just young in age but young in the Lord.
 
When the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified is delivered among you, recognize the condition of your heart when it is heard. Does it harden or soften? It is the moral authority of the Gospel, that which calls us out from among the world and be ye separate that brings us to a point of decision. Do we submit unto God’s Ways or do we seek a diplomatic word from another?
 
Choose this day in whom you will serve. Submit unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ and Him crucified and be Saved or reject the Lordship of Jesus Christ. At Calvary’s Cross the penalty of sin was paid in full by Jesus Christ. Death has died at the Cross of Christ and we who have freely chosen to believe are freed from the penalty of sin and the power of sin. There is no more condemnation in death and sin’s dominion has been dethroned for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. This is not based on an intellectual understanding of the theology but on a willing acceptance when presented with the ultimatum of Who Jesus is and What He did for whosoever will believe.
 
As for me and my house, we believe. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our debts…lead us not into temptation. Lord, we believe…help our unbelief.

Moral Evolution

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13
 
Mankind is born in a fallen condition due to Adam’s original sin and until we are ‘born again’, we cannot be in any other condition.
 
“5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water (natural child birth, not water baptism as some teach) and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
 
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5-6
 
The modern church has embraced humanistic psychology to rehabilitate the condition of which we were born. Through many religious ceremonies and works there may be an appearance of ‘moral reform’ born of the flesh but their lack of belief in the Cross of Christ Jesus for the redemption of their eternal souls results in a false sense of Salvation. Why? Because they do not realize their true condition as a sinner in need of a Saviour …Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done for whosoever will believe.
 
Instead of Jesus being presented as the Way, the Truth and the Life for fallen man to be made partakers of eternal life, He is presented as merely an example (of which He is) but He is also the Source and His Cross the means. With Jesus presented as the example and humanistic psychology cloaked in Scripture, the people are being given another Jesus and another gospel. The itchy ears earnestly seek a preacher who is sufficiently compromising in their smooth words and religious ordinances to offer unto them a form of godliness but denies the power thereof (2 Tim. 3:5).
 
Just as the leopard can’t change his spots (Jer. 13:23), the nature of which we are born with, our sin nature, cannot be made straight. It must be isolated, dethroned by the Divine Nature of which we are made partakers when we choose to believe upon the Son of God, Jesus Christ and are ‘born again’…born of the Spirit.
 
When the believing sinner accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit comes in to dwell in our hearts and lives. We are born of the Spirit and made alive unto God. Before Salvation, we are dead to God. We may know God and even know His Ways but we cannot partake in the Power afforded the Believer by the Cross of Christ to becomes sons and daughters of God.
 
Upon Salvation, that crooked stick (our sin nature) isn’t made straight but isolated by the power of God. We are baptized into Jesus’ Death where all transgressions of all mankind were paid and made free from sin’s power. No longer is our sin nature, that crooked stick if you will allow, reigning in our hearts but the Spirit of God Who leads us into all Truth. He will not speak of Himself but of the Cross of Christ Jesus.
 
There is no such thing as moral evolution. One cannot be saved by attaining some sort of moral reform but unless ye be born of the Spirit, to put it bluntly…you will be a morally reformed sinner in a devil’s hell for all eternity if you don’t repent and turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God Who sent His only begotten Son to pay sin’s penalty of which we are all born guilty.
 
Today is the day of Salvation. We are not promised tomorrow. Decide this day in whom you will serve. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness. Unless a man be born again, they will not see the Kingdom of God.
 
Jesus Christ and Him crucified…be determined to know nothing else among you. He’s not merely an example, He IS the Way, the Truth and the Life .

Perilous Times

 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the Truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.” 2 Timothy 3:1-8

The corruption of the Endtime Church is among us.  Their form of godliness deceives many a silly women.  Sorry ladies but it was Eve who was deceived in the garden by her diverse lusts, not Adam (1 Timothy 2:14).  We are emotional beings and are too often led astray by our ‘feeling’s of which false teachers prey on.

This form of godliness denies the Cross of Christ Jesus for victory over sin’s dominion, through which the Holy Spirit operates, and functions in vain philosophies which are taught as ‘biblical doctrine’…from such turn away.

The Holy Spirit does not operate outside the parameters of faith in the Cross of Christ.  Looking unto Jesus, Who HE is and what HE has done for whosoever believes sin’s power is utterly defeated on Calvary’s Cross, the Holy Spirit removes that which is not pleasing unto God.

The Holy Spirit superintends the work of God in our heart.  He gives us the desires of our heart and if our desires don’t line up with God’s Word, we recognize the Holy Spirit did not give it to us and ask the Lord for help to overcome such evil desires.  These are diverse lusts that corrupt our hearts.  We cannot overcome them on our own accord but we can submit unto God, resist the devil and he will flee.  Until we are submitted unto God’s plan for victory over sin, Jesus Christ and Him crucified, we cannot resist the devil (James 4:7).  We cannot follow Jesus until self is denied (Luke 9:23).

Holiness and Righteousness expels evil, it does not ‘corrupt’ evil.  However, evil corrupts Holiness and Righteousness.  The Endtime Church has been corrupted.  It is apostate and cannot be rehabilitated.  Sadly it resists the Truth and refuses to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.  Seeing they see not.  Hearing they hear not and neither do they understand.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13

The seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  Some who claim they believe the Bible deny the condition of the modern church.  Even worse, they have denied the Truth of Jesus Christ and Him crucified for victorious Christian living and have been seduced by lying signs and wonders.

If we claim to believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, we must also believe the Endtime Church has been corrupted.  The gospel of which they preach and the Jesus of which they lift is another and not the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  They did not allow His Holiness and Righteousness to expel the evil in their hearts and have compromised with the devil for sin’s dominion…from such turn away.  Come out from among them and be ye separate.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
