We are all born with a measure of faith.  It is what we put our faith in that counts.  We have plenty of faith that the power company will turn the power off if we don’t pay the bill but how much faith do we actually have in God?  Our faith in God can be measured by the amount of fear we live in.  2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”  God responds to our faith, not our fear and He has given us the authority to choose which one we receive.

Fear can paralyze us and cause us to put faith in man instead of God.  It is another tactic of deceit from the enemy.  The enemy’s goal is to waste our time until its too late.  Making us limit God by limiting our time.

Our faith is what moves mountains.  We are all born with a measure of faith but it is also a gift of the Holy Spirit.  Once we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we are empowered for service in the Kingdom of God.  We are immersed in the Holy Spirit’s life and power.  Faith is one of the nine gifts of the Spirit.  Prophecy, healing, tongues, interpretation, miracles, wisdom, knowledge and discernment are the other eight gifts.   The joy of these gifts are to use to edify the church and the body of Christ, not for individual empowerment.  These gifts are what puts the super in the natural and they are for EVERYONE who seeks them.   The Holy Spirit does not recognize denominational lines, He recognizes our heart.  He is wandering this earth today looking for those who have that measure of faith.  He guides us, comforts us and empowers us to do God’s work in His Kingdom.  HE is the one who inflames our spirit for God!  – Donna Warren
