Seeking God’s heart, as in a mirror, reveals to us our heart which in turn causes the humility necessary to understand who we are. We must understand who we are in order to receive who He is. As we discern (not judge) the disposition of another’s heart we can see the heart revealed to them by the heart they are reflecting. While we stand, looking to Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, our condition is revealed to us under the covering of His Blood and His glory is reflected through us to others. “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.” Proverbs 21:2. Only God knows our hearts but we can discern a heart’s disposition by it’s reflection. The heart we reflect to the world reveals the heart we are seeking. – Donna Warren
