Fellowship in the Atonement

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father, into thy Hands I commend my Spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the Ghost.” Luke 23:46.

Fellowship with God only exists in the Atonement.  If we don’t have faith in the Atoning Blood of Jesus Christ, we don’t have fellowship with God.  There is no amount of works, not matter how holy and good they are, that will restore our fellowship with God.

It is impossible for our faith to be in two different things.  Our faith is either in the Atonement or something else (methods, formulas, rituals, etc.) – fellowship with God only exists through one of them and that is faith in the Atoning Blood of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified…be determined to know nothing else (1 Cor. 2:2)!  – Donna Clark Warren
