“17 You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:17-18.
Even when Believers don’t know the direction, we know the Source and Means by which our answer comes – Jesus Christ and HIS redeeming work on Calvary’s Cross. If we will stand still, look to Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we will see the Salvation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
“You shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand you still, and see the Salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17.
Beware of the snare of the devil. Recognize the bait satan uses to lead you out of the Will of God. Rejoice in the Lord always…and again I say rejoice! Grow in the grace and in knowledge of our Lord.
“14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;” Hebrews 12:14-15.
Don’t be defiled by the root of bitterness…grow in the grace of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done to free us from sin and death.
