Divine Vengeance?

Job21 For now you are nothing; you see my casting down, and are afraid.

22 Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?

23 Or, Deliver me from the enemy’s hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty?

24 Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

25 How forcible are right words! but what does your arguing reprove?”  Job 6:21-25

Job’s friends are a dime a dozen.  When one is down, it is not our job to condemn.  If a Brother has indeed erred in their ways, tell them, teach them…cause them to understand with right words, not arguing.  The only measure of right and wrong is the Word of God…RIGHTLY divided, not cherry picked to fit.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest you also be tempted.”  Galatians 6:1

Too often we see our brethren’s trials and tribulations as Divine vengeance when we should in fact be restoring them in a spirit of meekness.  The spiritual testimony of Job showed the principalities and powers of darkness that God still had a people that would worship Him in their times of trouble.  No matter Job’s friends, consider your spiritual testimony in the face of evil.  In whom will you praise?

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2

And all of God’s Children said…..
