“Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6

Religion has forever devised away to 1) reach God and/or 2) better ourselves in some way.  It serves a benign purpose of letting one feel comfortable in the level of morality which they themselves can obtain.  Satan cannot stop true, biblical Christianity…GOD’s way for fallen humanity to reach Himself.  God’s Redemption plan will go forth according to His Word and His Will.  We either believe this to be true or we don’t.  However, seeing as where satan cannot stop Christianity, he attempts to corrupt Christianity and he does so through religion.

The fact of the matter is that man cannot reach God through our religious ceremonies, philosophies or traditions.  We are born spiritually dead to God; dead in trespasses and sin.

“And you has He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; ² Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: ³ Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”  Ephesians 2:1-3

Because man cannot reach God nor better themselves through various and vain schemes or maneuvering, God has to reach man.

“¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁷ For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be Saved.” John 3:16-17.

For whosoever will believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and accept His redeeming work on Calvary’s Cross as the payment in full for their sin penalty, their Redemption has been delivered.  Satan cannot stop God’s Plan of Redemption, he cannot stop biblical Christianity…so he attempts to corrupt the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

That which God has given freely to whosoever will believe, Jesus Christ and Him crucified to pay to the penalty of sin for the sinner and break the power of sin for the Believer, satan attempts to dilute through religion; making the Gospel of no effect for the Believer in their daily walk with the Lord.

“¹⁷ For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

¹⁸ For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

Because of religion, many will set aside God’s Plan of reaching out to us, Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and follow many wise words which appeal to the flesh.  The fruitless attempts to “better ourselves” through much motivational speaking and vain philosophies replace our dominion over sin by Grace through faith and the power of God is made of none effect in our lives.  The power of God has certainly not lost it’s power but we have turned away from His power with our foolish methods to recycle what God wants to crucify and recreate in us, namely a new creature in Christ Jesus.

The devil cannot stop God’s Plan of Redemption for His Children…for whosoever will believe upon His only begotten Son for their Salvation, but satan will certainly attempt to corrupt our belief.  It is up to us individually to test the spirits and search the Scriptures daily whether our beliefs have been corrupted by the devil’s religion.  We will all give an account of how we rightly divided and handled God’s Word.

God has reached out to fallen humanity in order for us to be Saved through the Blood of Jesus Christ.  He redeemed us to Him because He loves us; He does not love us because we are redeemed.  God has given us His Word and the Holy Spirit to guide us into all Truths.

“¹⁶ And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;

¹⁷ Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.

¹⁸ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees Me no more; but you see Me: because I live, you shall live also.” John 14:16-19

Because HE lives, we shall live also. Salvation has come to whosoever will believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.  No devil in hell can stop God’s plan of Redemption for His Children which was laid before the foundations of the earth.

“² For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.

³ And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

⁴ And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

⁵ That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:2-5

Place your faith in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, not in wisdom of man.  Be determined to know nothing else.  God’s Arm is not shortened.
