“44 And He (Jesus) turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, See you this woman? I entered into your house, you gave Me no water for My Feet: but she has washed My Feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45You gave Me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in has not ceased to kiss My Feet.
46 My Head with oil you did not anoint: but this woman has anointed My Feet with ointment.
47 Wherefore I say unto you, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Luke 7:44-47
Just as Simon the pharisee was offended at the actions of the woman with the alabaster box, many will be sitting on the pew this morning offended at the worship of those who understand they too have been forgiven much. When we realize just much we have been forgiven and the price paid for our Redemption, we too fall daily at the feet of our Lord and Savior…Jesus Christ, unto Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen.
