“Jesus said unto him, ‘I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me.‘ ” John 14:6

The Believer is afforded the Righteousness of God by Jesus Christ.  God’s Righteousness is received by exercising faith in the finished Work of Jesus and what He did for whosoever will believe at Calvary’s Cross.

The modern church has attempted to establish Righteousness by various man made methods presented to the congregation as biblical doctrine.  Prayer shawls and yamakas do not establish Righteousness but reveal the willful ignorance of those who choose to partake in these sanctimonious ceremonies.  Their rejection of God’s Righteousness by faith in the Cross of Christ and acceptance of another method as the Way to come unto the Father is not merely ignorance but willful ignorance.

For those who do partake in these vain philosophies, they will quickly declare they do not do these things in order to gain righteousness to which I say, why then do you do them? What does it profit?

^“2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

³ For they being ignorant of God’s Righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the Righteousness of God.” Romans 10:2-3

Submit yourselves unto God by exercising faith in the Cross of Christ…HE is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Be determined to know nothing else among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
