IN Christ Jesus

For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of Sin and Death.” Romans 8:2
40 days of purpose will not make you free from the Law of Sin and Death. Wearing yamachas and prayer shawls will not make you free from the Law of Sin and Death. Being water baptized, taking communion, going to church on Sunday morning or any other Scriptural ordinance will make you free from the Law of Sin and Death.
3 Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His Death?

4 Therefore we are buried with Him by Baptism into Death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:3-4
God’s Grace through our faith IN Christ Jesus, Who He is and what He did on Calvary’s Cross to break the power of sin in the Believer’s life, is the only power that can isolate our sin nature. All who are born are born with a sin nature due to Adam’s Fall. This sin nature has bent our flesh toward’s sin and it rules and reigns in the unbeliever’s heart.
At Salvation, the believing sinner’s faith is placed in Christ Jesus for Salvation. Coming to the understanding that we are a sinner in need of a Saviour after hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, we either choose to accept Him as our Lord and Saviour or we reject Him as our Lord and Saviour. For those who choose to accept, the Holy Spirit immediately comes to reside in the heart and lives of the Believer and makes us free from the Law of Sin and Death. It is the Holy Spirit alone Who has the power to isolate our sin nature and freeing us from the Law of Sin and Death. This is His ministry; His work to circumcise the heart of the Believer and write the laws of God on our heart causing us to want to do those things which are Holy and Righteous.
However, immediately after our Salvation, religion steps in and begins telling us all of the ‘things’ we must do to be ‘holy and righteous’. To be sure, the ONLY thing the Believer can do to be Holy and Righteous is believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and His Holiness and Righteousness is imputed unto us.
Once we begin partaking in all of the various commandments of men being taught as biblical doctrine to the new Believer, we remove ourselves from Grace and put ourselves back under law. There, we are no longer free from the Law of Sin and Death because we are no longer in Christ Jesus for daily living for God. Are we Saved? Yes! Are we living a victorious Christian life with sin’s dominion laid waste by God’s Grace through faith in the Cross of Christ? NO!
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Romans 7:21-24
These laws, any law given to live a victorious Christian life, makes the Cross of Christ of no effect and that is exactly what the majority of the church world is doing. By removing our faith from the Cross of Christ to the methods of man, we prohibit the Holy Spirit from isolating our sin nature which is the ONLY way we are free from the Law of Sin and Death. What the church attempts to do is usurp the ministry of the Holy Spirit and instruct the Believer on how to do these things on their own accord using their self will, talents, intellect, abilities, etc. It is foolishness that the church has accepted whole heartedly. If victory over sin could be found in the methods of man, the Cross of Christ was in vain. God forbid No!
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under Grace.” Romans 6:14
It is God’s Grace that frees us from the dominion of sin…not methods of man. Freedom from the Law of Sin and Death is found only in Christ Jesus by faith in HIS victory…not our own.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

21 I do not frustrate the Grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” Galatians 2:20-21
Do not frustrate the Grace of God. Be determined to know nothing else among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
