“3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.” 2 Corinthians 11:3-4
There are too many who have heard another gospel; they even recognized it as another gospel but decided to ‘pick out the good parts’ and have willing decided to bear with it for the sake of “unity”. They are indifferent to the wiles of satan and sit idly by as he corrupts the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified to Brethren. Like a virus, this wickedness spreads throughout the body and changes the simplicity of faith in the Cross of Christ to meet the every need of man to method into a philosophy from the vanities of man’s mind.
These vain philosophies are being taught as Biblical doctrine behind many a pulpit as those who are supposed to know better; the elders of the church have either sat idly by OR accepted it themselves and are now propagators of such nonsense themselves.
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common Salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.” Jude 1:3
If you’ve been touched by God and know the power of God in your heart and life, contend for the faith in the Cross of Christ…contend for our Christian values. Let no man come before you preaching another gospel for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Don’t bear with the preachers and teachers of another gospel but contend for the faith.
“14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel.” Mark 1:14-15
Repent and believe the Gospel.
