TAKING NO THOUGHT FOR THE MORROW

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:31-34

Sufficient unto the day is the evil. We need not worry about tomorrow’s evil. We, as Believers, must understand that God’s Grace is sufficient. The world doesn’t have this hope therefore they preach fear and hate which is a contagion to the Believer if we do not capture those thoughts that exalt themselves above what the Lord says.

Jesus Christ came to die on Calvary’s Cross to pay the penalty of sin for the believing sinner AND break the power of sin for the Believer. Fear is a sin but it will come knocking. It’s what we do with the fear when it shows up on our doorstep that matters. Do we look to it? Does it author our faith depending on the day? NO!

26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:26-28

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fear the Lord, not man. His Grace IS sufficient for the day. His Yoke IS easy and His burden light. SANCTIFY the Lord in your heart and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who ask you the reason for your hope.

9 And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

His Grace is sufficient. The power of Christ will rest upon whosoever will believe upon Him for everything that they need from God. Jesus is the Source and His Cross is the means by which we receive God’s Grace and it will flow uninterrupted as long as we continue looking unto Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Be determined to know nothing else among you!
