“16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And you shall be brought before governors and kings for My Sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.” Matthew 10:16-18
The religious world is greatly opposed to the Cross of Christ Jesus. To be sure, the world is religious. For many their religion is that of political correctness. The source is the vanities of their minds and the means are the philosophies set forth with corresponding rules to follow. This method applies to both the lost and far too often the Saved.
For the Believer, this method is cloaked Scripture to appear “righteous” but is nevertheless doctrines of man. The Believer equates the method with Christianity because of the Scripture applied and know not that the Scripture is taken out of context to fit the narrative of the writer.
The religious will deliver you up to the councils and you shall be brought before governors for the sake of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. You will be a testimony unto Him when this persecution is allowed. Vain philosophies will not do in this hour. You must know that you know that you know in Whom you have believed. You must understand the Rock on which you stand in His Word lest you bring reproach to Him Name. He wants to sup with you and you with Him but you must come out from among the religious and be ye separate.
There is a work to be done. The harvest is truly plenteous. The religious are poised to deliver up the sheep but the religious know not that we have been sent forth by our Shepard wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Little do the religious understand that like a flood, the Cross of Christ Jesus is being lifted up as the standard for whosoever will look and live.
There is a sound in the tops of the mulberry trees this morning! There is a stirring amongst God’s Children. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified IS going out to the four corners of the world and soon and very soon we are going to be caught up in the air with our Lord. Today is the day that the harvest MUST be gathered. Pray for the Lord to send out His Laborers to your loved ones and mine. If you cross their path today, tell them Jesus loves them for me and I will do the same. That crack head, drunk, homosexual, etc. often has a Mother, a Daddy, a brother, a sister, a Grandmother or a Grandfather praying for them…praying for YOU to reach out a hand of mercy and point them to the Cross of Christ.
“And let it be, when you hear the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then you shall bestir thyself: for then shall the Lord go out before you, to smite the host of the Philistines.” 2 Samuel 5:24
