Faith – the devil’s attacks are directly and strategically aimed at our faith. This fact alone should give us pause. The Lord responds to faith. God will test us to help strengthen our faith in Him. The enemy will tempt us because he knows if our faith fails, we fail. God will NEVER allow the enemy to tempt us above what we can bear. He will ALWAYS make a way to escape. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you “the escape route”. Hold on to your faith and let the Holy Spirit give you the power you need to accomplish God’s will in your life. Give God something He can work with – your faith in Him.

Jesus had an independent, Holy Ghost led ministry. He was Jewish by race, not by religion. Through the inflammatory power of the Holy Ghost, Jesus and His disciples did not wait for the people to come to them, they carried the gospel to the people. Soul winning then and soul winning now is not an option but instead an obligation. Instead of looking at man, money and methods to orchestrate amusement, recreation and entertainment in our churches today in an attempt to fill the void in our soul; we should rely on the Gospel, The Cross and the Holy Ghost.   When the Holy Ghost is lead councilor, our hearts are filled with peace, love and joy; Jesus’ standards become our standards. We want to serve others, rather than be served; we want to give rather than receive, we begin to humble ourselves rather than always attempting to humble others when the Holy Ghost leads our ministry. “Living in the Spirit” is available to all whose soul is aflame by the Holy Spirit.

A revelation is not the same thing as information. There is lots of information in the Bible. We read, study and quote Bible verses for informative purposes. It is not until we become spiritually alive that the information becomes a revelation through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Once we are spiritually alive the Holy Spirit fills us, ministers to us, guides and directs us. All of the “information” we receive cannot be spiritually discerned by the unredeemed as a revelation. Once we acknowledge that the Lord is the source of our wisdom through His Holy Spirit, He begins to reveal to us His Word. Once this revelation is given to us, if not manifested, it becomes a missed opportunity.   Take the time to manifest the Lord’s revelations in your life as a Christian. Also, take the time to understand the unredeemed in Christ need to SEE the manifestation of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in you (joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, faith and love) for the Lord to be able to reveal Himself to them through you. Be available for God to use you today!

The enemy tries to distract us. He will present an attractive counterfeit to keep your thoughts and ideas directed away from God’s will in your life. The goal of the devil is to keep us busy running in circles until it’s too late. If our spirit is not resurrected in this life it will remain eternally separated from God. Love and hate are not emotions, they are a conscious decision we must make everyday. Love is of God, hate is of the enemy. Choose the love, peace and joy that only comes through Jesus and the Cross. Choose blessings. DO NOT let the devil rob you of the life God has planned for you no matter the storms that surround. Live from the inside out and let the Holy Spirit order your steps. Confusion, fear, anger is not of God. Be aware of every decision that is made without the Lord being involved.

God did not “create” life, He IS life. We depend on Him to sustain our life. Jesus gave us the right to become a Child of God. Even as sinners Jesus believed in us. We should all seek to see ourselves as Jesus sees us. He believes in us through all of our “even thoughs”; even though we did this yesterday or even though we said that today.   We are not a child of God through birthright nor can we earn our own salvation through works or religious efforts. Salvation is a gift not a reward. The ONLY way we are adopted into the family of God is through believing in Jesus Christ and The Cross – just as He believed in us. As Christians we believe in the life sustaining power of God. As a child of God, it is our duty to show others how Jesus believes in them also – no matter the circumstances.

Our job as Christians is to worship the Lord and minister to His children. Your life is your ministry. Be God’s channel today to reach out to someone and minister to them. The Lord will use you to bless someone if you will let Him. His anointing is for each of us. If you see someone today with a horrible attitude toward you, that is nothing but the enemy trying to spread his misery. However, when you pray a blessing for that person in Jesus’ name, it stops the devil in his tracks and God will bless them and you. Minister to EVERYONE by showing the love, mercy and grace the Lord has given you. It’s easy to minister to the “nice” people but many times its the not so nice or not so sanitary, modest or proper folks who need ministered to the most. Matthew 9:13 Jesus says “…for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

No one can predict your future. We are all free moral agents with a free will thanks to the grace of God. That being said, the enemy cannot predict your future either, and because of that the devil will always try to keep you focused on the past. The ONLY reason we should look back is to see how far the Lord has brought us. Don’t ever limit God and think you have missed your opportunity to receive the fullness of God’s will in your life. In 5 years you are going to be 5 years older regardless. Do you want to be living in God’s will in 5 years or still looking back and letting the enemy get in the way of the prosperous life God has promised you? Prosperity is more than finances. Prosperity comes spiritually, physically, mentally and so much more. Guard your Jesus and let Him direct your steps. He NEVER goes backward. Psalms 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

The discipline we render when faced with trials is one way to release our blessings. God’s will doesn’t always line up with our will. We must decide whose will we desire in our life. We may not always understand God’s will. We may even be angry and rebellious that we have to make such hard decisions. However, if we believe the Word of God and we understand the Kingdom of God is for us, we will then “Rise ye up, take your journey,…begin to possess it (our blessing), and contend with him (the enemy) in battle.” Deut. 2:24 We will ALWAYS receive the Lord’s mercy and grace, even when we question. It is up to us to decide if we want to go back to Egypt, wonder around in the wilderness for 40 years or through FAITH obey His will and recieve His blessings. God responds to our faith in His Word when we seek His will in our lives. We can do it the hard way or the easy way, long term or short term – as long as its God’s way you can trust its the right way and you will be blessed.

Divine discontent – the stirring of the Holy Spirit that moves you from your comfort zone to taking a step of faith all in order to get you to your next miracle. If the Lord always kept us in a nice, cushy place we would never pursue more of His righteousness. NEVER be content in your spiritual walk with God and miss out on your next miracle! Pay attention to the stirrings of divine discontent and realize that is the Lord’s gentle hand nudging you forward, taking you from glory to glory. Don’t let the enemy’s spirit of fear get in the way of the Lord’s work in your life. Deuteronomy 32:11-12 “As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: so the Lord alone did lead him.”

Want to confuse the enemy? Walk around today like you are a child of the most high God and proclaim His Word in your life. Tell someone your testimony, share a blessing…just be a part of Jesus’ joy. Your life is your ministry and should reflect God’s glory. Our adversity shows “US” what we are made of, not God. God already knows we are His children. He is just waiting on us to act like it. Phil. 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice.”
