The Foolish Things

People don’t need a hug, a bottle of water and an oil change, they need Jesus Christ…the One Who is, Who was and is to come. They don’t need vain philosophies and man-made traditions of paradigms, harbingers and lent.  What people need is to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14

Have I become your enemy, because I tell you the truth (Gal. 4:16)? Why not give them Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done to pay the penalty of sin for the sinner and break the power of sin for the Believer?

We have too many preachers called by their mama’s behind the pulpit paralyzed by unbelief. These hirelings give the people lectures on understanding peace and how to speak joy into the world to overcome the world. The reality is, if they would give the people the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, the people would have peace beyond all understanding and joy unspeakable. The Holy Spirit would draw the lost and bound to His Word being declared from the pulpit and heal the brokenhearted.

Yet many remain paralyzed by unbelief. They have rendered the power of God insufficient to break the power of sin in the heart and lives of the Believer and presented humanistic psychology as the answer to overcome.  The Cross of Christ has become of no effect because the Cross of Christ is not being given to the people as the answer in which they seek.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-29
