Truth is not a philosophy but a person.

Jesus Christ is Truth:

“Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6

The Holy Spirit is Truth:

“⁶ This is He (Jesus) that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is Truth.” 1 John 5:6

The Word of God is Truth:

“Sanctify them through Your Truth: Your Word is Truth.” John 17:17

Jesus Christ is the Living Word Who became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus manifested in the flesh through natural child birth (water) of a virgin.  The Lord came by water in the flesh and it is His Blood that redeemed fallen man unto God.  On Calvary’s Cross, Jesus Christ paid the penalty of sin for the sinner and broke the power of sin for the Believer as the Sacrificial Lamb of God.  Man cannot redeem man…self cannot improve self, therefore God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save those who would believe.

Knowing this, Who Jesus is and what He did for whosoever will choose to believe, there is no doubt as to His Resurrection.  Jesus Christ is sitting at the Right Hand of the Throne of God searching to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9)…His strength is truly made perfect in our weakness (2 Cor. 12:9).

For mankind to be born again, they too must first be born of water (natural childbirth…not water baptism).  Mankind is not born of a virgin but of the seed of man which carries with it the sin nature due to Adam’s original fall.  We are all born of water and spiritually dead unto God.  Unless we be born again, born of the Spirit by faith in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, we will not see the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-5).  Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin AND broke the power of sin on Calvary’s Cross for whosoever will believe.

Once we accept Jesus Christ (The Truth) as our Lord and Saviour, we are born again and the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) bears witness that we are a Child of God.

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the Children of God:” Romans 8:16

Not all who are born of man (born of water) are Children of God.  We are all God’s creation but only those who have believed upon the atoning work of Jesus Christ have realized their condition as a spiritually dead sinner and have accept Him as their Lord and Saviour are Children of God.

Truth is not a philosophy.  The Atonement is not just a “doctrine”. Jesus Christ and Him crucified is God’s Plan of Salvation and God’s Plan of Sanctification for whosoever will believe.  Sadly, once the sinner accepts God’s Plan of Salvation, religion quickly intervenes to present to the new Believer, man’s way…their own vain philosophy on how to be Sanctified and the Truth is forsaken.  This vain philosophy is cloaked in Scripture therefore it is equated with Truth but has in reality become a lie.  It is corrupted.  Their is poison in the pot. The Cross of Christ becomes of no effect because faith is directed to the vain philosophy.

“² I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars:

³ And have borne, and have patience, and for My Name’s sake have labored, and have not fainted.

⁴ Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your First Love.” Revelation 2:2-4

Many have forsaken their First Love, Jesus Christ, and followed a philosophy; a search for the Truth.  The Truth remains…He will never change.  He is as the door knocking.  Jesus Christ and Him crucified; be determined to know nothing else – He IS the Way, the Truth and the Life.
