CONVERT HIM

Brethren, if any of you do err from the Truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” James 5:19-20

In today’s world, if someone attempts to convert another from the error of their way, the entirety of the church rallies behind the one who is in error and ostracize the one who is trying to save a soul from death. We become dividers and trouble makers…legalistic because we have chosen to actually believe the Word of God in its entirety. We are determined to know nothing else among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We actually BELIEVE Jesus will supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory in spite of our circumstances. Our faith is not in our circumstances and our abilities to maneuver our way through the circumstances…no, not at all. Our faith is in the One Who has led us into these circumstances in order to author our faith causing us to depend more and more upon Him. We know that He has allowed this circumstance and He is working all things together for our good.

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:13-15

We don’t worry about our ‘bad confessions’, we ask for prayer if we are sick and He answers our prayer. The answer may not always be what we expect but no matter the circumstance, if we are in God’s Will, our circumstances are not in vain…they are for a reason; namely His Glory.

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

If you err from this great Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified as the Source and the means by which the power of sin is broken, I’m going to tell you because I love you…and I pray you would do the same for me.
