“14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has Righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the Living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My People.” 2 Cor. 6:14-16
The purpose of the devil is to kill, steal and destroy. The Child of God must be very careful concerning the world and it’s wicked ways. The modern church has embraced this wickedness and has called it ‘good’. Satan has seduced many Believers into believing a compromised and corrupt gospel. It is another gospel and another Jesus and it is accursed (Galatians 1:8-9). The Cross of Christ has become of no effect in their hearts and their lives. The precepts of God are forsaken for the ways of the world in order to overcome the world.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” 2 Cor. 6:17
Daily the Child of God must determine in their heart who they are going to serve. Jesus Christ is the Source and the Cross the means by which the Grace of God flows in OUR heart…yes, our heart needs God’s Grace daily to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. God’s Grace is the answer to every dilemma and the ONLY way we receive God’s Grace is by daily denying ourselves and fighting that good fight of faith in Christ Jesus, Who He is and what He has done, and placing our faith in Him and Him alone. Such is the power of God for us who are Saved. Abiding in the finished work of Jesus. Standing and seeing the Salvation of the Lord and we begin to see that mustard seed of faith grow into a tree of righteousness because God gave the increase. HE authored and HE finished our faith because we believed and He accounted it unto us as righteousness.
Jesus Christ and Him crucified; be determined to know nothing else among you. Come out from among them.
