“1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.

3 Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the table of your heart. 4 Say unto wisdom, you are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman: 5 That they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words.

6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, 7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, 8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: 10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: 12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lies in wait at every corner.)

13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, 14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.” Proverbs 7:1-14

The strange woman, which represents false doctrine, will always present a peace offering. Her unconditional acceptance of all things, even things the Lord has declared as sin, is lifted up among the people and the spiritually young who are void of understanding, readily accept her peace offering as a Biblical doctrine. To be sure, the spiritually “young” could have been Saved 20 years but because they have entered into the strange woman’s house, they have remained young and void of understanding. Seeing, they see not. Hearing, they hear not and neither do they understand what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the churches.

“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Matthew 13:12-13

They are lukewarm and in need of nothing. Dwelling in the strange woman’s home, they too offer peace offerings but make no mention of the Burnt Offering. Without the Burnt Offering, symbolic of the Cross of Christ, there is no Peace Offering. There is no peace with God without the Cross of Christ…in spite of the strange woman’s claims.

“21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

22 He goes after her straightway, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hastes to the snare, and knows not that it is for his life.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

25 Let not your heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26 For she has cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.” Proverbs 7:21-27

In the strange woman’s house, there have been many strong men…yes, men of God, who have been slain by her. Their faith utterly destroyed as their hearts yielded unto her flattering lips and the lusts of their flesh began to war against the law of God in their minds and their heart decline unto her ways.

If we dare to ever think that we too cannot be deceived, well…we’re deceived. If we, and I speak here to Believers, dare to think that the preaching of the Cross of Christ Jesus is foolishness and that God won’t send us a strong delusion that we might believe a lie because we did not love the Truth, then we believe the Word of God is a lie.

To us who are Saved, the preaching of the Cross is the power of God. To those who are perishing, the preaching of the Cross is foolishness (1 Cor. 1:18). Those who are perishing have gone astray into the paths of the strange woman and they have been sent a strong delusion.

“10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the Truth, that they might be Saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 These. 10-12

For those who have been plucked out of the snares of the strange woman, you understand the dangers of false doctrine. Seeing, you see and you understand. My husband and I both were being seduced by her and our flesh tempted us so to walk in her paths…but praise be to God, that through the preaching and teaching of SBN (Jimmy Swaggart Ministries) our eyes were open. As they lifted up the Cross of Christ to us, the Holy Spirit began working on our hearts and we began to seek Truth. Not wanting to be deceived, we began to search the Scriptures daily to see whether those things were so which were being presented to us as Biblical doctrine and they always came up wanting.

Daily we continue fighting that good fight of faith in the Cross of Christ because we know that strange woman and understand just how dangerous she is to the body of Christ. We preach strongly against her as we run through the camp lifting up Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We are in fact determined to know nothing else among you. Why? Because Who He is and what He did is the power of God to us. We know that there is no Peace Offering without the Burnt Offering.
