Refuse to Bow

refusedtobow“...and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my (King Nebuchadnezzar’s) hands?

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up.” Daniel 3:15-18

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not functioning in presumption.  They did not presume they would be delivered.  As a Believer we know that the Lord will always deliver us until our work here is finished.  Unless we are caught up in the rapture, all are appointed once to die (Hebrews 9:27).

No matter the case, we do not have to think about our answer.  Our God is ABLE to deliver us.  But if not, let it be known to all, Jesus Christ remains and will always be Lord of Lord and King of Kings.  We will not serve nor bow to the idols the modern church has lifted up for God’s Children to worship.  As Believers, we do not need the methods of man for deliverance…we need Jesus Christ, the 4th Man in the fire, the Son of God Who came to die on Calvary’s Cross to break the power of sin in the Believer’s life.

The redeeming work of Jesus Christ heals the brokenhearted, delivers the captives and sets at liberty those who are bruised.  The redeeming work of Jesus Christ is just as much for the Believer’s victory in their day to day living as His work is for the unbeliever’s initial Salvation.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2

Be not careful to answer.  Be determined to know nothing else among you except Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done on Calvary’s Cross for whosoever will believe. Be still and see the 4th Man in the fire.

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”  Daniel 3:24-25

Dumber Than Demons

20140217-071846You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” James 2:19

Many believe that there is one God but have not accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour.

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18

Whosoever does not exclude any from being lost or any from being saved.  Whosoever believes that Jesus Christ came to die on Calvary’s Cross to pay the penalty of sin (death) and now sits at the Right Hand of God shall be saved.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

On the other hand, whosoever does not believe on the finished work of Jesus Christ, is condemned to an eternal hell.  The penalty for their sin has not yet been paid.

Whosoever excludes none.

The devil and his minions believe there is but one God yet they certainly are not saved, neither can they be saved. Interesting how so many who profess there is no God are in fact dumber than demons…that’s pretty dumb, just sayin’.

Once we have believed in the Son of God to wipe away our sins, we are called to follow Him.

And He (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23

He is now our Saviour AND Lord.  We now deny our self effort to overthrow the sin that has so easily beset us, pick up that which Jesus has freely given (life and life more abundantly) and FOLLOW Him.  Our cross is that which Jesus afforded us on Calvary’s Cross…freedom from the power of sin.

Many believe that there is one God, they even have a reverence toward God and believe they are saved. There is a difference in believing in God and accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour.  I’m speaking here to Believers and clumsily trying to explain the difference in so many who claim to be saved because they “believe in one God” yet in their hearts they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  We encounter them everyday and know them by their fruits.  With their mouths they worship “one God” but their hearts are far from Him because they are not following the Lord Jesus Christ…Jesus is not their Lord.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the Will of My Father which is in Heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? and in Thy Name have cast out devils? and in Thy Name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”  Matthew 7:20-23

Since you have believed on Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, have you followed Him? Before answering too quickly, we must first determine whether we have denied our self efforts to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.  Until we deny our self, it is impossible to follow Him.

He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Jesus Christ. Whom have you followed to the throne of God, precepts of man or the Word of God?

Prayerfully consider.

Mixed Multitudes

2016-06-07_15-53-051On that day they read in the Book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever;

Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.

Now it came to pass, when they had heard the Law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.” Nehemiah 13:1-3

Nowhere in the Word of God is the Child of God instructed to “coexist” among other religions.  As a Believer we cannot worship with those who believe differently.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17

True unity does not mean unconditional acceptance of that which God calls sin.  True unity is found in those who have come out from among the mixed multitudes and are separated to God for His service.  Such is the call of all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour…not just the pastors.

Come our from among the mixed multitudes.

Walk After the Spirit

6dd5292e19f9504b28f8198a931f6f06There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”  Romans 8:1-2

The Sanctified life; the life that leads to Holiness, Godliness and Righteousness, is strictly a work of the Holy Spirit.  Precept upon precept and line upon line, old things pass away and all things become new as we walk out our Salvation with fear and trembling.

As we look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the One Whose Blood paid our sin debt and broke the power of sin in our lives, we give the Holy Spirit latitude through our faith in Jesus to do that which He is commissioned to do…free us from the law of sin and death.

40 days of purpose will not free us from the law of sin and death. Fasting was not given to the Body of Christ for freedom from the law of sin and death.  Humanistic psychology and other methods from the vanities of man’s mind will not free us from the law of sin and death.

God gave us ONE answer for sin and that was His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

There is therefore no condemnation for those who believe in Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done on Calvary’s Cross for whosoever will believe.  There is conviction of sin from the Holy Spirit for the Believer but there is no condemnation.

The Sanctified life is strictly a work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those Who deny themselves, pick up their cross and follow Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit will never speak of Himself (John 16:13) but always point us to the One Who Overcame death, hell and the grave…Jesus Christ.  Be determined to know nothing else.

Newness of Life

Newness of LifeWhat shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”  Romans 6:1-4

Sadly, many will attend the religious centers today having repeated a prayer and receiving a card and believe they are saved.  There has been no change in their heart as they struggle to overthrow that sin that so easily besets them.  Others may feel a relief because they are told that there sin is forgiven…even though they have never repented, nor do they realize repentance is even necessary.  They are comforted in their sin but not changed by the power of God.

Know ye not that when we are born again that we are baptized into Jesus Christ and into His death?  The death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross as the sacrificial Lamb of God is the ONLY answer given to defeat death and overcome sin.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the Law, but under Grace.” Romans 6:14

Because of the fall of man, Adam’s original sin, we are all born with a sin nature.  This sin nature rules and reigns in our hearts until we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  Once we accept Jesus and our faith is placed solely in Him and what He has done on Calvary’s Cross, the Holy Spirit comes and baptizes us into the finished work of Jesus…His death – we are “baptized into His death”.  This baptism into the death of Jesus Christ breaks the power of sin in the Believer.  Sin no longer has dominion over us.  Old things pass away and all things become new.

For some, religion will come in and carry them away.  They will begin to focus on various and often times Scriptural practices in order to “gain” God’s favor.  The ugly cycle of working for favor begins and we begin walking down a path that does not lead to life but death.  Daily we are dying. Our faith wanes as we are swept to and fro with every wind of doctrine that comes down the pike.  Binding pythons.  Looking for harbingers. Is this the shemitah? Sader feasts. Waiting on blood moons.  Gotta have a prayer shawl.  The list is endless but the results are the same…death.  Our sin nature is no longer isolated because our faith is in “our part” and not Jesus’ finished work.  We are not partaking in the Divine Nature of Grace through faith but once again bound by the law of sin and death.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

There is a change that occurs when we are born again; when we are baptized into the death of Christ.  We are given dominion over our sin nature.  We no longer have to partake in worldly statutes to overcome.  There is a circumcision of the heart, a circumcision made without hands that brings life…newness of life.

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”  John 7:37-38

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, death has no more dominion over Him. As a Child of God, we have been freed from sin.  Yield yourself unto God as one that is alive from the dead…walk in the newness of life.  Lay hold on life and life more abundantly.

Endure the Afflictions

theharvestisplentifulBut watch you in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an Evangelist, make full proof of your Ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5

How often do we abandon the path the Lord has placed us on when adversity arises? Endure the afflictions. Do the work of an Evangelist. Don’t take the path of least resistance to further your Ministry; make full proof your Ministry.  Declare the Truth according to the Word of God.  Stand boldly against false doctrine that satan has sent to kill, steal and destroy the brethren’s faith.

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then said He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38

Move with compassion on those who are scattered with no shepherd.  Those who are spiritually sick and their faith is dying are the very ones who need to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ that brought them in to the Kingdom, is the same Gospel of Jesus that will deliver them from their afflictions.  Too many have been sitting under another gospel and another Jesus and are accursed (Galatians 1:6-10).

The problem with the church today is unbelief.  Unbelief that this glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way we are given dominion over sin…there is no other.  In fact, some don’t want dominion over sin because they like their sin and feel that God’s grace “covers” their sin.  In other words, Jesus came to empower them to freely sin.  To those I say, get saved.  Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty of sin and to break the power of sin for whosoever will believe, not give us license to sin.  That is in fact another Jesus and another gospel.

When, and only when, our faith is placed in Jesus Christ and His finished work (not our various religious traditions, ceremonies, etc.), can the Holy Spirit do that which He is commissioned to do…free us from the law of sin and death.

For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

Do not be hindered.  Endure the afflictions. Do the work of an Evangelist.  Make full proof your Ministry…be determined to know nothing else among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Establish Your Hearts

34e1d7f7fd314d1f1d7da684f02dd402This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

This is a description of the endtimes church, the church of Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22). Their form of godliness blinds them to their wretched, miserable, poor and naked condition.

This people draw nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honors Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.”  Matthew 15:8

The Scriptures do not teach an endtime revival in the church.  Sadly, many in the pews of the endtimes church fail to see the “endtimes harvest” that is declared from their pulpits is actually speaking of themselves, the apostate church, and Jesus Christ stands OUTSIDE the door knocking. Deception opens the door to more deception and they are swept to and fro with every wind of doctrine looking to a revival to deliver them from their bondages while Jesus stands at the door knocking.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

Jesus Christ broke the power of sin in the Believer’s life.  His finished work on Calvary’s Cross IS the Power of God unto us which are saved.  The Holy Spirit is not commissioned to free us from the law of sin and death when we are looking to an endtime revival for deliverance.  As we look unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith, the Holy Spirit is commissioned to come and set us free…and if the Lord Jesus Christ makes you free, you shall be free indeed!

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until He receive the early and latter rain. Be you also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near.”  James 5:7-8

So many are standing at the foot of the religious institutions being entertained by the seductive music and vain philosophies of man crying out to God for deliverance.  Their yoke is heavy and keeps getting heavier as they desperately look for revival in the endtime apostate church.

I want you to know friends, the Spirit of God IS pouring out His Spirit on His Sons and Daughters.  As many turn away from the mere form of godliness they have walked in for untold years and take hold of the Cross of Christ to break the power of sin in their lives, they are beholding the Power of God….the sustaining Power of God, the Power of God that keeps us through the trials and tribulations.  The Power of God that will endue, redeem, reconcile and keep us to the uttermost because Jesus Christ ever lives to make intercession for us.

There is an apostate, endtime church.  If you do not see this, it is because you have been blinded by the deception.  They have a form of godliness but are not of God…from such turn away.  Establish you hearts; for the coming of the Lord draws near.

-Donna Clark Warren

Latter Rain

Latter RainAnd it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”  Acts 2:17

Since the day of Pentecost and continuing through until the Tribulation, the Lord has been pouring out His Spirit on His Sons and Daughters.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until He receive the early and latter rain.” James 5:7

As many IN the church house stand looking for a revival because the pulpits declare and decree a coming revival (I’m speaking to you NAR, word of faith and grace revolution churches), the Lord is standing OUTSIDE the door knocking (Revelation 3:14-22).

The Word of God does not teach a coming revival in the church but of apostasy behind the many of the pulpits.  The Bible tells us to try the spirits whether they are of God (1 John 4:1).  We are warned of being tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:11-14).  Yet so many continue to be deceived and distracted with wisdom of words from the vanities of man’s mind.

36 But when He (Jesus) saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then said He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;

38 Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38

The harvest is indeed ripe.  Many are sitting in the church pews desperately looking for a revival that will deliver them from their bondage while the Lord Jesus Christ stands at the door knocking waiting and wanting to pour out His Spirit on them.

16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the Living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My People.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My Sons and Daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”  2 Corinthians 6:16-18.

Come out from among them Brothers and Sisters and He WILL be a Father unto you and you WILL be His Sons and Daughters.  The Lord of the harvest IS sending forth His laborers into the harvest and they are declaring to the church “…Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2).  Judgment begins at the house of God.  He is standing at the door knocking.

For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the Power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18.

The power of God is in the Cross of Christ, Who He is and what He there did for whosoever will believe.  The Lord is raising up a people to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ back to the church.  They will not be preaching a coming revival, they will be declaring the error of the modern church and pointing them back to the Cross of Christ for the deliverance in which they seek.  The signs and wonders will FOLLOW those who believe.

There are those bound in religion who truly love the Lord Jesus Christ.  They are spiritually naked, sick and imprisoned by the teachings of man.  Will we, “the laborers”, the “Blessed of the Lord”, preach deliverance to the captives?  Will we go to them? Who will go to the church and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And He said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”  Isaiah 6:8-10

Whether the hear or not, someone must go tell them.

The Schoolmaster

Just shall live by faith23 But before faith came, we were kept under the Law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 Wherefore the Law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”  Galatians 3:23-24.

The righteousness of the law was not “Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.” Lev. 19:11.   The Law contained Righteousness but Righteousness that man could not attain.  It was the indictment of the Law, the “schoolmaster”, that brought the Old Testament Saints to understand their need for a Savior..their coming Messiah, Jesus Christ.  For those who properly understood the Mosaic Law, this indictment of the broken Law was a death sentence which pointed the Saint to the need for a sacrifice.  This sacrifice of bulls and goats was the only way to restore fellowship with God.  The blood of bulls and goats could not remove sin from their account but they were a type and shadow of the coming Messiah Who would pay their debt in full.  Again, it pointed them to Christ.

The fact that one does not steal does not make them righteous in the eyes of God.  There are many UNbelievers who do not steal.  What makes one righteous in the eyes of God is the fact that they know, due to their fallen state because of Adam’s original sin, that they are guilty and in need of a Savior.

The Judaizers who insisted on the New Testament Believers continuing in the Law were much like the modern Hebraic Roots Movement who insist on the observance of the ceremonial laws.  They too do not understand it was the indictment of the Law which brought to surface their need for a Savior and that their modern feasts are a mere symbol of their Savior.  They are in fact no more righteous than the unbeliever who does not steal in the eyes of God.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes.”  Romans 10:3-4

Until we understand the indictment against us, we will not understand our need for a Savior and continue in our vain attempts to justify ourselves.  Glossing over our condition will not change the reality of our need for Jesus Christ and what He did on Calvary’s Cross for whosever will believe.  Observing sabbaths, feasts, festivals, ceremonies and/or traditions will not change our condition.  Faith…faith in the Living God changes the condition of our heart.

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the Blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living God?”  Hebrews 9:13-14

Serve the Living God.  No man, Believer or unbeliever, is justified by the Law in the sight of God.  The just shall live by faith…faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, Who He is and what He has done for whosoever will believe.

Spiritual Poverty

Eye salve14 And unto the Angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the Creation of God;

15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.

16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of My mouth.

17 Because thou say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel you to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”  Revelation 3:14-19

The Laodicean Church is the “Apostate Church”.  They have equated their increase in material goods with spiritual blessings and have need of nothing.  With the cloak of self righteousness, they do not see their spiritual nakedness before God.  Their works are neither hot nor cold but unprofitable and rejected by God.  They appear justified before man because of their religious works but their hearts are far from God.

Too many do not believe there is an Apostate Church.  Let me tell you friend, if you do not see the apostasy in much (not all) of the modern church today…anoint your eyes with eyesalve that you may see.  Forgive me for being blunt but you are IN the apostate church and bringing reproach to God.  If you are indeed a part of this apostate church as I and my husband once were, the tithes you pay are not going to the work of God but against the work of God.  The good works that takes time away from your family are unprofitable in the eyes of God.  The raiment you wear is not righteousness but self righteousness.

I do not say these things to dismiss nor discount one’s love for God by any means. However, there remains a people in this apostate church that are bound by this religious yoke.  They are holding on to a faith that does not break the power of the ruler of this world (satan) all in the name of Jesus.  Their faith in the religious works, tithes and many other Scriptural ordinances is NOT the faith the gives us victory over the world, the flesh and the devil.  Our faith in Jesus Christ, WHO He is and what He has done on Calvary’s Cross to break the power of sin in the Believer’s lives (mind you, I’m speaking to Believers here, not unbelievers) is the only faith that gives the Holy Spirit latitude to do that which He is commissioned to do…free us from the law of sin and death.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”  Romans 8:1-2

In the words of our Lord…be zealous therefore, and repent.  He stands at the door knocking.
