“11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Cor. 2:11-14
Carnal curiosity leads to death of the soul…spiritual death. The carnal mind is at enmity with God (Romans 8:6) and our hearts are deceitfully wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). It is a waste of time to argue Scripture with an unbeliever because they are not spiritually discerned.
Philosophies created in the vanities of man’s mind are being presented as Biblical doctrine to the people and because they are cloaked in Scripture, many a carnal Christian equate them with Christianity. These philosophies appeal to the intellect of man and the lusts of the flesh but are nothing more than laws presented to lead the Believer into bondage.
Please understand, the teachers, preachers and believers of such are sincere and do not know themselves that their heart has deceived them. These things seem good but they are seeds of death as our faith is slowly shifted away from what Jesus Christ did at Calvary’s Cross to break the power of sin for the Believer and shifted to what the ‘Believer’ did to break the power of sin. The incantation, the 40 days, 21 days, blood moons and shemitahs are not the reason the Christian is cursed or blessed.
Read that again please.

That which determines the Believer’s curses or blessings is not what we do but what Christ Jesus has done for whosoever will believe. I’m speaking here of believing Believers and not professing Believers. Many worship the Lord with their mouths but their hearts are far from Him due to unbelief. To say that the Believer is cursed is to say that the Cross of Christ was not sufficient to break that curse when we were born again. Family curses, soul ties and such are all perfect examples of the silly philosophies presented by the religious to appeal to the intellect of another. The professing Believers who believe such mess are indeed sincere but they are sincerely wrong.
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.” John 16:13
The Spirit of God Who dwells inside us with witness to us the things of God. No matter the dilemma, the Cross of Christ, is the answer. Jesus is the Source and His Cross the means by which we receive from God…there is no other way. Our carnal curiosity does not afford us such blessing but will in fact lead to spiritual death as our heart is hardened to the Truth. Not receiving the love of the Truth, we are sent a strong delusion.
“10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the Truth, that they might be Saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
There are many believing Believers among the professing Believers and their eternal souls are at stake. Thinking they cannot be deceived, they too have been deceived. They have chosen intellect instead of discernment.
Jesus remains at the door knocking. He is calling those out whose hearts are perfect toward Him…calling them out from among the apostate church and into His glorious light. He’s calling us out to bring us in…into the fold.
Today as everyday, we must examine ourselves whether we be in the faith. This fight of faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified is a daily fight. The world, the flesh and the devil are forever trying to sway us to and fro; trying to reset our faith unto another source and/or another means. If they can sway just one, whether it be the source as Jesus or His Cross as the means, the hook is set. The seed of death is planted.
Jesus Christ and Him crucified is not just a cliche for us who believe but is in fact the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life for whosoever will believe. We no longer live but He lives in us.
As for me and my house, we are determined this day to believe nothing else among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
