BALAK’S MOUTHPIECE

“19 God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received Commandment to bless: and He has blessed; and I cannot reverse it.” Numbers 25:19-20

There are far too many Balaks out there aligning themselves with the prophet’s of God wanting nothing more than for the prophet to curse the People of God. Sadly, instead of seeking the Face of God for His Will in the matter, they will quickly be the mouthpiece for the enemy instead the Lord. It is God’s Will for all to come to the saving knowledge of Him…not just who ‘we’ deem worthy. Job’s friends are a dime a dozen.

Don’t be a mouthpiece for Balak. God is not a man that He should lie. That which He has blessed shall be blessed. They may be limping through this life in Egypt but if they have excepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, they SHALL be blessed.

When we see our Brethren struggling point them to the answer in which they seek…the ONLY answer to man’s dilemma; Jesus Christ and Him crucified. At Calvary, Jesus paid the penalty of sin for whosoever will believe but He also broke the power of sin for whosoever will believe. Many are still struggling in their own power to overcome the power of sin. Just because we may know the answer, doesn’t mean we’re supposed to get that talent and bury it until the Lord returns. NO!! We must go invest it into others who are bound. Perhaps they don’t know the difference between forgiveness and deliverance…and neither did we at one time or another.

Don’t be Balak’s mouthpiece. When Balak comes alongside and promises you the riches of the world to curse the People of God; recognize he (or she) are nothing more than the complainer looking for a mouthpiece to align himself.

God is not a man that He should lie. His People belong to Him and He is fully capable of keeping them according to His Will and His timing. How dare us try to reverse what God has meant for good in the life of the Brethren.
